Investigation, adjustment and troubleshooting of complex property damage losses, particularly involving foundation or geotechnical issues. Provision of pre-litigation advice, CPR Part 35 compliant expert witness reports and presentation of evidence, most particularly with regard to tree root induced subsidence damage. Recent

Trouble-shooting and resolving complex subsidence losses including project management of repairs. Part of a UK-based FCL team assisting a major insurer review allocation of loss between the 2010-11 series of earthquakes in Christchurch New Zealand for reinsurance purposes. Part of an FCL CAT team deployed to NZ during 2014-16 to review the management and reserving of earthquake property damage for a major insurer and subsequently cash-settle the most difficult claims. Part of an FCL CAT team deployed to NZ in 2011-12 to provide CAT management review and assistance to an insurer of high value faith and educational buildings with complex issues, culminating with the allocation of loss between the 2010-11 series of earthquakes for reinsurance purposes. Member of the award winning FCL CAT team deployed to Chile during 2010-11 to provide earthquake CAT management assistance to a major insurer of a wide range of multi-million dollar commercial and industrial property damage losses.
