A Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Chartered Builder, Chartered Building Practitioner, Chartered Construction Manager and Project Manager. A former Chartered Institute of Building (Australia) professional interview panel member and University graduate liaison officer. Author of academic curriculum material for Bachelor of Applied Science (Built Environment) Building and Property Degree Programme.

A wide range of building/structural oriented commercial, EXPERTISE: residential, ecclesiastical and infrastructure claims exposure, involving both traditional and project-managed approaches. Also gained significant international experience in hurricane & earthquake CAT major loss environments.

Recent

June 2011 deployed to New Zealand providing catastrophe response, following successive earthquakes and extensive structural damage in Christchurch. Selected for a major, high profile distribution and transport infrastructure claim. This involved leading a team comprising building surveyors and engineers for the damage evaluation and quantum management of a large buildings asset portfolio. January 2014, as part of an international team to New Zealand to evaluate a complex portfolio of infrastructure repair and rebuild costs, comprising water storage reservoirs, water supply pumping stations, wastewater and storm water pumping stations. April 2015 deployed to New Zealand with a multi-disciplinary team of specialist consultants dealing with a high value residential projects, on assignment embedded with a large International Insurer, to provide a reinstatement ‘cash settlement’ process resolution for a portfolio of complex residential earthquake repair & re-build risks.
